The next generation in silicone column molds
This is my absolute favourite round column mold for use with cold process and melt and pour soap. It's thicker, sturdier and made from premium FDA/LFGB food-grade silicone for easy release, smooth finish and quick clean up. Enjoy zero waste soap making with no lining required. OPTION: Add 4 binder clips for added security if you gel your cold process soaps.
Directions for use:
Line up both sides of the mold and press along the edges so they lock together. Starting at the bottom/centre, press along each edge, closing any gaps as you work from the bottom to the top. Optional binder clips can be attached to the sides for extra security if you like to gel your soaps (gelling = heat = soap batter will expand during saponification). Add 2 binder clips at the midway point and 2 at the top to secure, as shown in picture six. Mold will stand up unassisted on a flat, even surface. Due to the flexible nature of silicone, soaps that reach high temperatures and/or expand in the mold may be change to a more oval shape. To retain the round shape of your Silicone Round Column Mold, store as shown in pictures four and five when not in use.
