Our Story
Hi, I’m Belinda Williams, the soap artist, educator, and creative heart behind Love Your Suds®.
What began as a creative outlet and passion for handcrafted soapmaking quickly grew into something much bigger: a worldwide community of soapmakers connected through creativity, learning, and the joy of making beautiful things by hand. With a background in art direction, graphic design, and branding, I naturally approached soapmaking a little differently. I became fascinated not only by formulation and ingredients, but by the artistic possibilities hidden inside each bar of soap. That curiosity eventually led me to develop new techniques, design tools, and creative processes that helped push soap artistry in exciting new directions. |
Today, Love Your Suds® is known around the world for innovative soap design tools, sculpted layer techniques, and the award-winning Kaleidoscope and KaleidoSwirl™ Techniques and Tools. Since launching my original Soap Shaper® tools and Kaleidoscope designs in 2019, my goal has always been simple: to help soapmakers create stunning, professional-looking soaps with more confidence, less frustration, and far less trial and error.
But at the heart of it all, Love Your Suds® has never just been about tools.
It’s about creativity.
It’s about learning.
It’s about encouraging soapmakers of all skill levels to explore what’s possible.
Whether you’re making your very first batch of cold process soap or refining advanced artistic techniques, I want you to feel inspired, supported, and excited to create.
Everything I design, teach, and share is created from real-world experience as a working soap artist and educator. From workshops and tutorials to custom-designed tools and small-batch bath and body creations, every part of Love Your Suds® is built with intention, functionality, and creativity in mind.
I’m also incredibly passionate about helping makers skip months (or even years) of unnecessary frustration by sharing the pro tips, troubleshooting knowledge, and design strategies I wish I had when I first started.
Over the years, I’ve had the honour of teaching soapmakers around the world, presenting at leading soapmaking conferences across Canada, the United States and Australia, and seeing my tools and techniques used in thousands of beautiful soap creations globally. None of that would have been possible without this amazing community.
