Our Story

Hi, I'm Belinda Williams—Creative Director, Brand Designer & Strategist, soap artist, educator, presenter, founder of Love Your Suds®, and creator of the Kaleidoscope Pull-Through Technique, Kaleidoscope Pull-Through Tools, Sculpted Layer Scrapers, and other original Soap Shapers™.

What began as a creative outlet and passion for handcrafted soapmaking quickly grew into something much bigger: a worldwide community of soapmakers connected through creativity, learning, and the joy of making beautiful things by hand.

With a background in Creative Direction, Brand Design and Strategy, I naturally approached soapmaking a little differently. I became fascinated not only by formulation and ingredients, but by the artistic possibilities hidden inside each bar of soap. That curiosity eventually led me to develop innovative techniques, original soap design tools, and creative systems that continue to push soap artistry in exciting new directions.

I've always been driven by a simple question: "I wonder what would happen if..." That curiosity has become the foundation of every tool, technique, workshop, and creative system I've developed. It continues to inspire every new idea, challenge assumptions, and uncover new creative possibilities.

Love Your Suds is trusted by soapmakers around the world for original Soap Shapers™, including Sculpted Layer Scrapers, and the award-winning Kaleidoscope Pull-Through and KaleidoSwirl™ techniques and tools. Since introducing my first original Soap Shapers™ and Kaleidoscope Pull-Through designs in 2019, my goal has always been simple: to help soapmakers create stunning, professional-looking soaps with more confidence, less frustration, and far less trial and error.

Over the years, Soap Shapers™ has grown into the umbrella name for the original family of soap design tools created by Love Your Suds®. The collection includes Kaleidoscope Pull-Through Tools, Sculpted Layer Scrapers, KaleidoSwirl™ Tools, Rounded Edge Tools, Soap Stamps, Extruder Discs, and custom Soap Shapers™.

I’m also incredibly passionate about helping makers skip months (or even years) of unnecessary frustration by sharing the pro tips, troubleshooting knowledge, and design strategies I wish I had when I first started.

Along the way, I’ve had the honour of teaching soapmakers around the world, presenting at leading soapmaking conferences across Canada, the United States and Australia, and seeing my original tools and techniques used in thousands of beautiful soap creations. None of that would have been possible without this amazing community.
